  Food was great. Lamb appetizer was overdone but still juicy and flavor was amazing. Other 2 apps were good. Entrees were excellent. Desserts were excellent. Presentation was great. Only complaint was, after dinner and desserts we were handed the check and told to take our time. We did (old friends catching up) and nobody came back to refresh our waters, ask if we needed any more drinks and open a new tab...anything. We spent $500 for 4 people, there were tables open, so there was no reason to ignore us for the two hours after we ate.

  First time visiting this excellent steak house. Very impressed with the food. Atmosphere is appealing with dim lighting and candle lit tables. Being a Saturday evening they seemed to be completely booked however the waiting staff was able to keep up in a very well manner which did don't keep us waiting for service. If you like steak/lamb/beef cuts this place has a good variety as well as seasonal special including seafood. Small plates/appetizers are delicious and however can be found at other restaurants, Montarra adds a signature touch. It's a little hard to find as they don't have a very large sign from the street and parking could be a hassle. I look forward to future trips to this restaurant, I would recommend this to anyone for a formal dinner, working dinner, special anniversary.

  If you haven't tried, you need to! They are on the top list of restaurants in the suburbs for a reason! The food, drinks and ambiance is out of this world! The bacon wrapped dates are amazing!! Awesome for date nights, whether it's with your significant other or your best friends. Can't wait to return for more yummy food!
